Amsterdam is getting a new home for Europe's AI elite. In September 2026, The Stack opens its doors at Jacob Bontiusplaats 9 in Oostenburg: one place where the most promising AI start-ups, investors and corporates come together. The mission? To turn Europe from an AI consumer into an AI builder.
WE are proud to have advised The Stack on the lease of this new home base. The hub starts with 4,500 sq m, with the ambition to grow to 12,000 sq m and more than 200 founders by 2029. The Stack will soon house around 30 fast-growing AI companies, including Ubicloud, Dawnguard and Iconic Works.
The Stack was co-founded by Lennard Zwart, Maarten Stolk, Philip Gast and Techleap. It is backed by founding partners IMC Trading, ABN AMRO, ClickHouse, Deloitte, Google, Miro and Prosus, and supported by the City of Amsterdam.
The Stack is building Dutch AI intellectual property, companies and jobs for the Netherlands and for Europe. A fantastic addition to Amsterdam's tech ecosystem, and we look forward to seeing what will be built here.
